How you can help

There are many ways that you can help us in our work.

In 2010 our programmes in Africa will help close to one million people to grow more food and earn a better living for themselves and their families.

That is only possible thanks to the support we receive from you, the public.

You can help by:

Make a once off donation or become a regular giver

You can use the bottom on the top right of this page to make a donation to support our work. Alternatively, follow this link to find out how you can give monthly to support our work.

Organise a fundraising event

In the past year supporters of Self Help Africa have run marathons and mini-marathons, undertaken sponsored parachute jumps, organised coffee mornings, arranged charity cycles, hosted charity lunches, run mini-soccer tournaments and sponsored golfing events - you could do the same. The range of options for helping in this way is almost endless. Contact us on 1850 75 76 78 and speak to one of our fundraisers about how you could help.

Set up a staff fund at work

Payroll giving is a great way for you and your work colleagues involved in supporting our work. The smallest amount can be deducted from wages each week or month, and it is tax free. Why not find out more, and put a proposal to set up a staff fund to support Self Help Africa to your colleagues at work. Others are doing it. To find out more contact us here.

Buy gifts from Self Help Africa

At Christmas, Easter, Valentine's Day and for birthdays and other holidays every year we sell, through our online shop the opportunity for you to sponsor beehives, seed, water kits, poultry and much more. We issue shoppers with attractive certificates and cards with each purchase - it's a very tangible way to help an individual, family or community in Africa.
