Self Help Africa has been organising field visits for its supporters to Sub-Saharan Africa for the past decade, and in that time has provided hundreds of people with the chance to experience Africa in a way that will live long in the memory.
The trips are popular and successful fund-raisers for the charity - with recruits required to raise 5,000 euro (£4,200) in order to travel.
This sum covers all travel, accomodation and administration costs. It is our pledge that at least 50% of the sum that you raise will go directly to support our African projects.
This year's field visits will take place to Uganda in late October, and will include visits to Self Help Africa's projects in Kamuli, Kayunga and in Amuria.
Participants will also spend time in Uganda's vibrant and colourful capital Kampala, and will pay sight-seeing visits to a number of popular tourist destinations, including the source of the mighty River Nile.
Visitor numbers on each of these trips is restricted to a maximum of 15 people. |
