Self Help Africa regards membership as an opportunity to ensure the highest level of corporate governance is in place both at board and supporter level, and is a mechanism to engage with key stakeholders.
We also believes that membership will ensure that a diverse cross section of society is actively engaged with Self Help Africa, reflecting : gender balance, geographical and demographic spread (urban/rural), various sections of society - eg. business, community, agriculture, etc
The formation of a membership panel will also provide board transparency, and help to ensure the highest standards of corporate governance for Self Help Africa. |
