A case study with photos and imaginative role play will help pupils empathise with issues affecting people from another country. They will learn how sustainable farming techniques can improve lives.

What makes a balanced diet for a family in the UK and in Africa? What does good nutrition cost?
This is a fun way for pupils to think about making good food choices. Pupils will take the part of UK or Zambian families and learn how poverty can affect nutrition.

How would you cope if your school did not have any water?
This exciting project will get pupils problem solving together. After learning about the problems of water shortage in Africa, pupils will produce their own rainwater harvesters.
