Job Details
Self Help Africa is seeking to recruit programme support co-ordinators.

Successful candidates, based in Ireland and in the UK, will be responsible for working with country programme teams to maintain and develop high quality programmes in our African countries.

Programme support co-ordinators are responsible for ensuring best practice in all aspects of programme cycle and budget management. Successful candidates will provide on-going mentoring and back-up support to our African country teams, to ensure quality delivery, timely reporting, and engagement in organisational level initiatives.

Programme support co-ordinators will report to the Self Help Africa Director of Programmes, and will also work closely with the Policy and Strategy, Finance, Fundraising and Advocacy Departments

Successful candidates for these positions should have at least three years experience working in overseas development, a degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Social or Developmental Studies, and knowledge and experience of programme cycle management. As some of the countries in which Self Help Africa are Francophone, it is also desirable although not essential that candidates are French speakers.

Type of Contract: This is a permanent position.
