Life in Africa

How is life different for children in the UK and rural Africa? What challenges families face and how can they be helped?

This is an assembly suitable for Key Stages 1 and 2. It's a great introduction to another way of life as pupils will think about what food, games, lifestyle and school might be like for children in Africa. It also introduces the work of Self Help Africa.

All notes are included in the Power Point assembly.

Medrine is featured in the Assembly Power Point Presentation on slide 12. The PDF sheet below gives a diary of Medrine's Day. You can use it to elaborate during the assembly or as a follow up activity.
