How you can help Self Help at home:
Because we believe that it is African people themselves who are best placed to successfully implement the programs that we are supporting, we do not send developed world volunteers to the field to assist with our work.
However, Self Help is always looking for volunteers to help with our work here in the US. We need volunteers who are prepared to help at our events, to help organize in the run up to events, run marathons, arrange fundraising activities, help us to disseminate the message about what we do and provide the supporting link that is vital to the continuing success of our organization.
